250 G CASTER SUGAR
250 G SELF RAISING FLOUR- SIFTED
250 G EGGS-4-5 EGGS
1 1/2 TSP VANILLA
3 TBSP MILK
RASBERRY ,STRAWBERRY OR MIXED BERRIES JAMS- FOR FILLING
1 TBSP  LEMON YELLOW FOOD COLORING

BAKE; 170 C


CREAM THE BUTTER AND SUGAR AND VANILLA BEAT UNTIL FLUFFY.

BEAT IN THE EGGS ... AND THE TIME.

LASTLY ADD IN THE  FLOUR SLOWLY..ADD THE MILK UNTIL ALL IN CORPORATED..ADD  THE COLOR.

BAKE IN THE 7 INCHES ROUND CAKE TIN..BUT I USED 8 INCHES...BAKE THE  CAKE FOR 30 MINS.



ITALIAN VANILLA BUTTERCREAM ;

MAKES 6 CUPS



1 1/4 CUPS  SUGAR- DIVIDED INTO 1 CUP AND 1/4 CUP
1/3 CUP WATER
6 LARGE EGGS- AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
3/4 TSP CREAM OF TARTAR
2 1/4   CUPS BUTTER(4 STICKS)-VERY SOFT-CUT INTO PCS.
1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE.




PLACE  1 CUP OF SUGAR AND WATER INTO THE SAUCEPAN.BRING TO A BOIL,OVER MEDIUM HIGH HEAT..SWIRLING PAN OCCASIONALLY.DIP THE BRUSH IN THE COLD WATER AND WASH DOWN SUGAR CRYSTALS FROM THE SIDES OF THE POT ONCE OR TWICE..ALLOW SUGAR MIXTURE TO SIMMER GENTLY AS YOU PROCEED WITH EGG WHITES.



MEANWHILE,PLACE EGG WHITES IN THE,GREASE FREE MIXING BOWL AND WHIP UNTIL FROTHY ON LOW SPEED USING WIRE- WHIP ATTACHMENT OF A STANDING MIXER.ADD IN CREAM OF TARTAR AND TURN ON TO MEDIUM HIGH SPEED.WHEN SOFT PEAKS FORM,ADD INTO 1/4 CUP SUGAR GRADUALLY.CONTINUE WHIPPING UNTIL STIFF ,GLOSSY PEAKS FORM.


AS THE SUGAR SYRUP COOK REACHES 248 TO 250'F....IF WE DON'T HAVE THE THERMOMETER,WE WILL SEE THE SMALL BUBBLES IN THE ENTIRE SURFACE..

POUR THE SUGAR SYRUP INTO THE WHIPPING MERINGUES...AT THE MEDIUM HIGH SPEED...SLOWLY..AND BEAT UNTIL THE MIXING BOWL COLD TO TOUCH..THIS WILL TAKE AROUND 10-15 MINUTES.

ADD THE BUTTER SLOWLY,KEEP BEATING UNTIL ALL WELL COMBINE...AT THIS POINT YOU MAY PUT IN VANILLA ESSENCE..THE TEXTURE OF THE FROSTING IS BETWEEN PEANUT BUTTER AND MAYONNAISE




ASSEMBLY THE CAKE;

CUT THE CAKE INTO TWO LAYER..SPREAD THE FROSTING AND TOP WITH THE JAMS....

FROST THE CAKE...AND DECORATE THE CAKES WITH YOUR STYLES...

  2. walaikumussalam! huruf a nikee guna ready made fondant kak..malas nk guna nozel....anyway italian buttercream ni mmg best kurang manis kak..tapi guna white eggs..tapi boleh di gantikan meringues powder...sama juga hasilnya...
