SWEET COCONUT AND PASSIONFRUITS CAKE

JOM KITA INTAI RESEPI........










175 G BUTTER@ MENTEGA
215 G CASTER SUGAR@ 1 CUP
3 EGGS
200 G @ 1 1/3  CUPS SELF RAISING FLOUR
50 G @ 2/3 CUP SHREDDED SWEET HAWAIAN COCONUT
125 G @ 2 CUP SOUR CREAM
1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER

FOR GARNISHES; SHREDDED SWEET COCONUT
BAKE:170 C - 40-45 MINS

METHOD;


CREAM THE BUTTER+ CASTER SUGAR...UNTIL CREAMY AND FLUFFY.

SIFT THE SELF RAISING FLOUR+ BAKING POWDER.

MIX THE EGGS SLOWLY UNTIL ALL WELL COMBINE.

ADD IN THE COCONUT AND MIX WELL...PUT  THE SOUR CREAM ALTERNATELY WITH FLOUR UNTIL ALL FINISH.

POUR THE BATTER IN 8 INCH PREPARED BAKING TIN AND BAKE FOR 40-45 MINUTES.

COOL THE CAKES  AT LEAST FOR 15 MINUTES ON THE WIRE RACK BEFORE FROSTING THE CAKES..
























THIS IS ONE THE MOST MOIST CAKE EVER....IT IS ALSO THE BEST GIFT@ BUAH TANGAN FOR A SPECIAL  PARTY @ MAJILS LIKE KENDURI,HARI RAYA,OPEN HSE ETC.....

LEMON CHEESE FROSTING;



250 G @ 300 G  TATURA CREAM CHEESE
2 TBSP LEMON JUICE
1 CUP OF CONDENSED MILK
1/2 OF BLOCK CHEDDAR CHEESE-SHREDDED FINELY FOR GARNISHES.

- CREAMY THE CHEESE  UNTIL SOFT AND FLUFFY,ADD THE LEMON JUICE+ CONDENSED MILK..UNTIL WELL BLENDED..


PASSION FRUITS COULIS;



4 PASSION FRUITS
2-3 TBSP ICING SUGAR

- TO PREPARE THIS COULIS ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS ..SCOOP OUT THE PASSION FRUITS AND MIX WELL WITH THE ICING SUGAR..

ON THE SLOW FIRE,AND COOK THE COULIS UNTIL WARM AND COOL THE COULIS ASIDE.




PREPARING  THE CAKE+ FROSTING:


PUT THE COOL CAKE ON THE CAKE PLATTER@ PLATE...

CUT THE CAKE FOR 2 @ 3 LAYER WITH SERRATED KNIFE...AND  IT"S EASIER  TO CUT THE CAKE WHEN CHILLED. 

TO ASSEMBLE THE THE CAKE...PUT THE FROSTING IN EVERY EACH LAYER OF THE CAKE..AND SPREAD THE COULIS ON THE TOP OF IT....KEEP DOING THIS PROCESS UNTIL ALL FINISH.


ONCE IT'S DONE..FROST THE WHOLE CAKE AND GARNISH WITH THE SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE...ON THE TOP OF THE CAKE PUT THE COULIS  TOGETHER WITH THE SWEET COCONUT...



PESAN NIKEE;

BOLEH DI HIASKAN DENGAN SWEET COCONUT.

YOU MAY ALSO GARNISH YOUR CAKE BY USING THE SWEET COCONUT AS WELL.
